The Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) would like to implement the 24-hour policy to destruct all confiscated, seized, or surrendered dangerous drugs to avoid public notion and fears that the illegal drugs under custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) are being re-circulated, reused, or recycled.

8 April 2008 - Dangerous Drugs Board Chairman, Sec. Anselmo S. Avenido Jr. and Executive Director, Usec. Edgar C. Galvante led the agency’s staff in a random drug testing in a show of commitment to the anti-illegal drug drive and in compliance with Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
